Today I sat with a man who is due to come into a sizable amount of (legal) money.
We processed a bit about how his life would change. I brought up family coming for assistance. His response calm voice, no anger or attitude:
"This ain't no Quicken loans. (Without missing a beat) So anyway like I was saying..."
I think we both know the opposite will happen: but for now we'll just let that hope float and hope he doesn't self destruct in the process.
